Rotating True North:

  • To align project walls with property lines, go to site plan that is oriented to True North
    • Draw an angle reference property line aligned to the side of the house
    • move the angle reference property line over to the southwest corner where the property lines meet.
    • Go to Manage > Project Location > Position > Rotate True North
    • Place the coordinate on the same southwest corner
    • Select the angle reference property line first, then select the actual property line- this will rotate the entire project (*only property lines created with a table will stay the same)
    • Select all elements and rotate them using the same angle reference property line
